THE CODES OF TANG SOO DO

STUDENT CREED
I must develop myself in a positive manner, and avoid anything that could reduce my mental growth or physical health. I must develop self discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others. I must use common sense before self defense and never be abusive or offensive. This is a Martial Arts School, we are dedicated, we are motivated, we are on a quest to be our best.
OUR MISSION AND BELIEFS
Our main focus is to develop individuals physically, mentally and spiritually. It is our desire to guide individuals along the path of becoming a Black Belt, as opposed to simply selling them one.
We are not a production line. Producing high numbers of Black Belts is not our aim. We strive for excellence on every level and that takes time, patience, discipline, courage and a lot of hard work. You will receive only what you earn. Nothing more. Nothing less.
We believe in teaching life skills such as courtesy, integrity, commitment, focus, respect for self and others, discipline, humility and courage. These make up the core Tenents of our Art. These are what make us better human beings.
We also believe in quality over quantity. This theme is apparent in our curriculum, which focuses on teaching technically correct and useful techniques. Many times, these techniques lack the "flash and glitter" that the Hollywood karate movies typically depict. We want our students to be able to use what we teach in the event they ever have to defend themselves or protect a loved-one.
We focus on teaching the Art of Korean Tang Soo Do. We are experts in what we teach and wish to share that expertise with our students. We believe in continuing education and constantly strive to learn new skills.
At Dale Simmons Tang Soo Do we practice what we preach. We walk the path; it is part of our daily lives. It is who we are.
Methods of Payment
Check or Cash only. All checks made payable to Dale Simmons. $35 charge on all returned checks
PAYMENT TERMS
The class dues for the first month are paid at the time of enrollment and are due every month at the 1st class of each month.
A $10.00 late fee will be added if the dues are not paid by the 7th of the month.
If dues are not paid by the 15th of the month, it will result in an automatic dismissal from class attendance. To return to class, all dues must be made current plus $10.00 reinstatement fee.
Class dues will not be pro-rated to class attendance. This means an entire month is paid regardless of how many classes you attend.
Equipment, uniforms, and other items ordered must be prepaid for order to be processed.
Prices (month to month payment plan - no longterm contracts)
- All martial arts (Tang Soo Do) classes are $45 per month - Family rates available (does not include uniform).
- Personal Training sessions are $35 per session (minimum 8 sessions).
